Sunday Scenes

Home Sweet Home
Across the street from us Georgia 515
Wild Honeysuckle dripping wet with rain.

A cozy rainy day.  A slight cool wind chills me.  The smell of wild honeysuckle and wet leaves is strong as I walk Molly and take pictures.

The Blue Ridge Mountains of North Georgia are just outside my window.

Simplicity of nature rules here at Plum Nelly Campground, Ellijay, Georgia.

Peace is deep and wide.

..."Come with me into the heart inside the heart, the world inside the world.
..."

My Granddaughter and Kitty 2014

I am a yogini. I am timeless.
I am a woman offering myself on
the altar of truth.
I am a roar
I am a sigh
I am a billion sparkles of light.
Come closer to me, I will hold you in my heart.
Come with me into the realms of constant blossoming,
where each atom is flaunting its stunning power.
Together we dare to be that big.
To be that radiant.
To be that trusting.
Come with me into the heart inside the heart, the world inside the world.
Our roots growing deep into earth and cosmos,
into total belonging.

(Thankfully many wonders and truths encourage me.)

  1. Yogini
  2. Yogini is the sacred feminine force made incarnate: the goddesses of mythology (Lakshmi, Parvati, Durga, Kali) as well as the ordinary human woman who is enlightened, both having exuberant passion, spiritual powers and deep insight, capable of giving birth to saints, peacemakers, and Yogis.

Mother's Day and Jacksonville, Florida

Mother’s Day we spent in Jacksonville, Florida.

Chamblin’s  Uptown our favorite bookstore was open.  Wandering the isles among tall bookcases is so fun.  Found a George Sand biography!

Historic downtown is delightfully filled with grand and avant guard architecture.

Homeless persons are in the number of over a hundred that I could see.  Makes you think and think and pray.

Monday Mood - Sunday Golden

The Golden Part of the Day

Stimulation of the senses, our very spirit, can be golden.  We can create our own golden by passionate observance.

I wonder, would there be enough persons following their passions, to do the work of our world.  Everyone happy, just a thought.

May each of you walk gently through this week.
and
gather about you
a few passions.

Photography is one of my passions.

Pictures from The Odessa Visit

This week i found myself grateful for:

  • We are “on the road again”, a slow exit from Florida.
  • I’m calling it The Odessa Visit.  Darrell’s sister, Joanne lives on Lake Church, Odessa, FL.  Her one acre home place is beautiful.
  • Wandering alone taking pictures.
  • Housewife Bakery and Deli, Tampa, FL. - Guava Cream Cheese Bread Pudding.  Yum.
  • Books.
  • To have choices available.
  • Gift of life.
  • Silence.  Meditation.
  • Ability to research to my hearts content.
  • Eyesight and mobility.
  • Two days of big rain for our thirsty earth.
  • Sun on the third day, Sunday.
  • Empty Apple Snails shells at lakes edge.
  • Ladyfinger mini bananas growing near the lake.
  • Always something new to discover.
  • Sleep
  • More and more people care.  We need each other.
  • The ability to feel and intuit life.
