We left Maggie Valley early to come see my grandson Zac play professional hockey in Fayetteville, NC. He plays with the Fayetteville FireAntz.
Tonight was the first game. We lost 4 to 2. It was a grand game, a good game by both teams. Watching my first professional hockey game, and my grandson playing. It. Was. Awe-some.
The temperature is 40 degrees at almost 1:00 a.m. It is supposed to freeze, maybe. Bottom line it is very cold. Making chili tomorrow.
