Motivators and Touchstones

Change, awakened, enlightened, intelligent, common sense, simplicity, peaceful, learning, kindness, believing, live in the moment, we are all one, trust, music, nature, art, poetry, meditation, worship, faith, and God, are among the words and phrases, that catch my attention.

Change can be refreshing.
Awakened may involve a burst of illuminating energy.
Enlightened pushes back the darkness.
Intelligent persons are seekers of becoming their best self.
Common sense is meant to be a life saver.
Simplicity keeps us from going insane.
Peace-ful is a place to dwell, immersed in peace.
Learning keeps us stirred to reach outside our comfort zone.
Kindness to others is our best self.
Believing allows change.
Living in the moment keeps us focused.  Everything we need is in the moment.
We are all one, connected, community, we are all family.
Trust dissolves stress.
Music gives us wings and transports and transforms us.
Nature is all her glories.
Art in its many forms.
Poetry can transport us, give words to how we feel.
Meditation supplies a place to begin and recharge.

Worship is giving back.
Faith is a form of trust, it “involves”us.
God - is my one constant.

These are beginning words and concepts for this year.  My motivators, my touchstones!

1842 version*
..."Willows whiten, aspens quiver,
Little breezes dusk and shiver
Through the wave that runs for ever
By the island in the river
Flowing down to Camelot.
Four grey walls, and four grey towers,
Overlook a space of flowers,
And the silent isle embowers
The Lady of Shallot.".....
"The Lady of Shalott" by Lord Alfred Tennyson
